WPP partners with The Bach Project

Willow Pond Productions is proud to partner with The Bach Project on its inaugural concert!

The Bach Project, directed by Andrew Sheranian, is a newly-formed ensemble of professional singers and instrumentalists, drawn from the Handel & Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, Emmanuel Music, Trinity Church in Copley Square, and the Church of the Advent. The ensemble will perform organ, instrumental, and choral music of Johann Sebastian Bach, including Brandenburg Concerto No. 6, the motet “Lobet den Herrn”, and Cantata 47. They will be joined by the Boys’ Choir from The Parish of All Saints, Ashmont (Dorchester, MA).

This endeavor is a collaboration with Ashmont Hill Chamber Music, which has been offering high-quality concerts in Ashmont for decades.

WPP will debut its new “Ideale Nieren Anordnung” (INA5) audio recording setup, as well as provide single point of view video recording for this not-to-be-missed performance. “Willow Pond is delighted to take part in this project.”, says WPP Principal Matt Ettore. “Recording a live performance with musicians at opposite ends of the concert space can present technical and logistic challenges. Our new INA5 setup allows us to capture the entire performance, from all angles, including the concert space’s ambiance, using a minimally invasive footprint. It also allows us to marry our new single point of view video recording with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, in addition to our ‘traditional’ stereo audio recordings.”

The concert will take place on:
Sunday, November 26, 2017 — 4:00PM
Parish of All Saints, Ashmont
209 Ashmont Street
Dorchester Center, MA 02124
